Publications : Ferner Catalogue Spring 2004

The Spring Catalogue 2004 features 80 colour pages and 100 artworks. Featured artists  includes expatriates Rhona Haszard, Maud Burge, Owen Merton and Maud Sherwood, as well as artists who spent some years painting in Europe: Dorothy Kate Richmond, Margaret Stoddart and Elise Mourant.   

This is the first catalogue in which Ferner Galleries has included photography, with a double page spread on the work of Peter Peryer. Multiple pages have also been dedicated to the work of some of our greatest contemporary artists; Colin McCahon, Ralph Hotere, Bill Hammond, Pat Hanly and John Reynolds. The catalogue also exhibits some of our most significant living artists painting in the regional realist style, such as Don Binney, Peter Siddell, Robin White and Brent Wong.
